FVU professor Nikola Simanić, winner of the first competition under the Micro 020 project, through which artists were given the opportunity to transform their green corner into Princess Xenia Street into a space that would be attractive and comfortable to stay.

The idea of the author was to set up a permanent contemporary art installation - contemporary sculpture, with the aim of depicting the scattering of light as a metaphor, from which radiates a palette of the most exalted virtues that adorned Princess Xenia. Installation tends to incarnate light through the prism, which is also related to the photographic processes that Princess Xenia explored, setting them at the level of a work of art. The winning solution stood out from other works by its originality, contemporary artistic expression and the way it fits into the environment.

In accordance with the terms of the competition, the winning project will be realized and transformed into an art installation, which will further refine the new space Podgorica recently received, through the Micro 020 project.
We remind that the partners in this project are the United Nations Development Program in Montenegro (UNDP), the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro, the Capital of Podgorica, the Union of Architects of Montenegro (SACG) and the Association of Fine Artists of Montenegro (ULUCG), and this activity is being implemented under the # Mikro020 project and the Creative Montenegro Program with a focus on economic valorisation and the creative industries.
