Ass. prof Marija Džoganovic participated in the Art @ CMS (CERN) exhibition with the installation of Virtual Box in collaboration with the Ministry of Science, which took place from 21 to 28 November in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The exhibition was staged on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Bulgaria's accession to CERN.

The installation has been listed under the permanent Art @ CMS setup which travels to various events organized by CERN internationally.

Marija has created a multimedia installation that examines the fundamental dualisms: material-immaterial, energy-mass; man-cosmos. The energy carrier and the visual record generator are Mountain Crystals, quartz. The crystals are enclosed in a constructed black object with reflex surfaces in the shape of a dodecahedron. The dodecahedron is one of the five Platonic bodies in Sacred Geometry, Each body is bound by one element: earth, water, fire, air, while the dodecahedron is bound to the cosmos. The beam of light is directed and multiplied by the reflection on the reflex surfaces and multiplied through the action of the crystal. As a final product, we get directed and multiplied energy that has no output because it is enclosed in the dodecahedron.

The camera-watcher has the opportunity to look into the "creative secret".
