The short amateur movie "Masks" by Biljana Bozovic, students of audio-visual production of the FVA of the  University Mediterranean, was premiered in the multimedia hall of KIC "Budo Tomovic".

This movie is considered the first Montenegrin LGBT movie, thus it is not surprising that on the eve of the movie in front of the KIC "Budo Tomović", the presence of guardian of orders was visible. Journalists and those who were on the list of invitees were released in the hall.
The organizers of the screening of the "Masks" are NGO LGBT Forum Progress and the KIC "Budo Tomovic", as well as the capital city. The movie tells a story of a young gay man from Podgorica who falls in love with his best friend and gets rejected. However, when his friend sees on television a transmission of a gay parade, he recognizes the real threat to his gay friends, goes out into the street in order to help him, but arrives too late ... According to Bozovic, this movie tried to offer at least a little closer picture of the position of LGBT people in the wider Montenegrin society. She got the idea by the real life experience of her gay friend.
I want this movie to send a message that people should not ignore others just because they are different from them - Bozovic says. When asked what she thinks would someone after the screening of movie start  to ignore her, Bozovic said that she has been a friend of the LGBT community in the past and had problems because of that. She is accustomed to a conviction because she is defending their rights.
As you can see I made this movie without any help, without resources, and because of that some mistakes are obvious, and not everything is perfect, because this is still an amateur movie. I hope that I will find some financial support for future projects - Bozovic says. Shortly before the screening audience was addressed by Bojan Jokic, the  President of the LGBT Forum Progress, Maja Bogojevic,  the Dean of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Donja Gorica and the president of the Montenegrin branch of the World Association of Movie Critics (FIPRESCI). Bogojevic said that she was very happy about the fact that this movie was made, because she believed that movie, as the most massive art, has the power to change the ingrained social attitudes.
