We inform students of the University Mediterranean that the Government of the People's Republic of China will award a scholarship for one of our students for the academic year 2017/2018.
These scholarships do not cover travel expenses.

All applicants must pass through electronic registration of the China Council for scholarships. In order to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:
•    be foreign citizens, and not citizens of People's Republic of China;
•    have good health (provide proof of health, in the attached form);
•    be high school graduates under the age of 25 years if applying for undergraduate studies
•    have a certificate of completed undergraduate studies and be under age of 35 years, if applying for master programs
•    have a master's degree, be under the age of 40 years if applying for doctoral programs;
•     be younger than 45 years and have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies, if applying for general academic programs
•    To have a master's degree or be an associate professor (or other higher title) if applying for higher academic programs.
Required documents:
•    The application form for the scholarship of the Government of the People's Republic of China (in Chinese or English). The form is available online at http://www.csc.edu.cn/studyinchina;
•    Notarized photocopy of highest diploma. Prospective diploma winners must submit official proof of student status by their current school. Each document, which is not in Chinese or English must be accompanied by a certified notary translation into Chinese, or English;
•    Transcript of records: transcripts, which are not in Chinese or English must be accompanied by a notary certified translation into Chinese or English;
•    Study plan or research proposal in Chinese or English (at least 200 words for undergraduate studies, up to 500 words for research and up to 800 words for Postgraduate Studies)
•    Recommendation letters: Applicants for master or doctoral degree studies and senior scholars must submit two letters of recommendation by professors or associate professors.
•    Applicants for studies in the field of music are expected to submit a CD with their works. Applicants for the field of fine arts must submit a CD with their works, including two sketches, two color paintings and two other work;
•    Applicants under 18 must submit valid documentation of their guardians in China;
•    Applicants who plan to stay in China for more than 6 months must submit a medical certificate in English for foreigners (original to be retained by the candidate).The form that the Chinese authorities have foreseen for this purpose can be downloaded at the internet address: http://www.csc.edu.cn/studyinchina. Checks should include everything stated in the form for medical examination of foreigners. Incomplete results or those without the signature of the physician, the official stamp of the hospital or the candidate's photos with the seal are not valid. Please make the medical examinations in timely manner, because their validity is only 6 months;
•    Applicants who received the "letter of acceptance" ("Pre-admission letter ') of the respective universities, should submit the letter along with the application;
• Applicants with a valid medical certificate should enclose it with the application documents
