A delegation of the Ministry of Science, headed by the Minister dr Sanja Damjanovic, visited on 2 December 2016 the University Mediterranean and talked with the management of this institution.

The key topic of the meeting was international cooperation, current research projects, exchange of students and teaching staff and investing in the creation of high-quality scientific research personnel.
Minister Damjanovic pointed out that in the coming they should put the focus on international cooperation and networking and thus create a workforce that would be competitive in the wider area. At the meeting it was pointed out that scientists and researchers in Montenegro who do not have necessary infrastructure for their work should be given the opportunity to be trained at respective foreign institutions through joint projects, mobility of researchers and faculty employees.
