We would like to inform you about the first Montenegrin Summer Startup School, sponsored by the Ministry of Science, the University of Montenegro and the Confucius Institute, to be held this September. The intensive one-week program is designed to bring the concept of startups closer to students through various creative workshops and engage them in various competitions to win compelling awards.

The goal of this project is to introduce students to the concept of startups, to learn from local experts how they started their own and turn them into successful business stories. Our desire is to start and train creatives to turn their dreams into their professions. The opening ceremony will be held in the Rector's Blue Hall, at 10.00 on September 16, 2019. The school will be opened by Minister of Science Dr. Sanja Damjanovic and Rector of the University of Montenegro Prof. Dr. Danilo Nikolic. The project manager is Doc. Dr. Milena Djukanovic. The partners of the project are: Telenor Foundation, National Tourism Organization of Montenegro and Open Box Studio. The summer school is free of charge for the best students from the University of Montenegro, the University of Donja Gorica and the University of the Mediterranean. At the end of a successfully completed summer school, students will receive a certificate.
