The Government of Montenegro at its session held on 12 July 2017, elected the Scientific Research Council, composed of:

1. Sanja Damjanović,PhD, Minister of Science;
2. Academician Petar Vukoslavčević, for the field of natural-mathematical sciences;
3. Saša Mujović, PhD, for the field of technical and technological sciences;
4. Vesna Maraš, PhD, for the field of agricultural science;
5. dr sci. Elvir Zvrko, for the field of medical science;
6. Gordana Djurovic,PhD, for the field of social sciences;
7. Nina Radulović, PhD, for the field of social sciences;
8. Anđela Jaksic - Stojanovic, PhD, for the field of humanistic sciences; and
9. Lidija Rmuš, representative of the economy.

At the first constituent session of the Council, the Draft of the NID Strategy (2017-2021) was adopted along with the Action Plan, which will be addressed in the public debate.

The session was, among other things, devoted to consideration of the activities of the Council for the forthcoming period, in order to contribute in the best possible way to the creation and development of policies in the field of science and research.
