As part of the practical training in the International Standards and Production course, the students of the Audiovisual Production specialist studies of the Faculty of Visual Arts will attend the MEDIA Day in Podgorica, which will be organized by the Creative Europe Desk of the Ministry of Culture in cooperation with the Film Centre of Montenegro at 12:00 on Monday, December 11th, 2017, at the EU Info Centre in Podgorica.

According to the announcement of the organizers, during the MEDIA days the participants will talk about the competition for film project development, the guidelines for the preparation of the application package, the experiences of the Macedonian cinematographic sector, and will hear the presentation of the Montenegrin project of the feature film "After the Winter", which was supported this year by the EU fund. Also, the lecture titled "Film and television as creative industries – the importance of film and television tourism" will be held.
The following guests will be speaking on Info Day: Ilija Subotić, consultant for audiovisual activities at the Ministry of Culture and coordinator of the MEDIA sub-programme, Sehad Čekić, Director of the Film Centre of Montenegro, Vladimir Stojčevski, Head of the MEDIA Desk Macedonia, Ivan Đurović, director of Artikulacija Production Podgorica and Miloš Dukelić, director of Red Production Belgrade.
As part of the EU's largest cultural fund, the MEDIA sub-programme is intended to provide financial support to the development, distribution and promotion of European films as well as the audiovisual industry, and Montenegro has been participating in it since 2015 in order to improve the cinematography sector as a whole.
