Within the project "YOUth on the Mov (i)e – Building a Better Region Through Film" which is carried out by the Center for Social Economic Development (CDER) with the support of the RYCO Fund and implemented in Montenegro by the NGO "35mm", a number of documentary films will be screened at the Faculty of Visual Arts, University “Mediterranean“, Projection Room at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 21.

The audience will have the opportunity to watch seven short documentaries created within the aforementioned project aimed at "promoting intercultural dialogue and tolerance and supporting reconciliation in the Western Balkans Region" through promoting reconciliation, cooperation and better understanding in the region by using the impact of film. Discussion following the film screening is planned.
On a multi-day training course, held in October and attended by more than 20 young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Montenegro, Macedonia and Serbia, the participants learned to use the film for education and activism and discussed the common Balkan tradition, the turbulent past and the present, as well as the possibilities for building a common future on the basis of mutual respect and understanding.
After the film, the participants made six short films that are being presented or will be presented in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro within the forum programs.
The CDER partners in the project are: Association Youth Volunteers (B&H), EESTEC LC Tirana (Albania), NGO "35mm" (Montenegro), CID Kumanovo (Macedonia) and Association for the Development of Žagubica Municipality (Serbia).
The project is supported by the Regional Youth Cooperation Office - RYCO.
